![]() ![]() You can even have that go even further into just all Aquatic worlds take like 50% less orbital and army devastation due to their cities and buildings not being built on the surfaces of planets in general. well, Resilient! As a way to counterbalance the basically ineffective habitability of Non-Wet worlds, defenders of Aquatic worlds "build their fortresses deep in the trenches of the oceans" and gain increased defenses. ![]() So with the Resilient trait Defending Armies can take a real pounding by any would-be invaders, but Aquatic species would be even more. Much like the Lithoids being good on every world, Aquatics would be more challenging as they could really only be effective on Wet worlds, (maybe Arctic worlds because there can be Oceans under the ice) and possibly even get some sort of bonus effect for being on Ocean worlds specifically, this doesn't mean that you can't colonize non-wet worlds but it does mean that you'll be spending double or even triple the Consumer Goods cost for non-preferred worlds. So, habitability will have to be a core element that this Species Pack would center around. Obviously, an Aquatic species wouldn't necessarily handle a Desert world very well, Envirosuits are great, but Murphy's Law dictates that what cango wrong, willgo wrong. There's already an Avian species portrait that kind of has a bowl-like helmet on its suit so think something similar to that. ![]() Ocean life can still be sentient and spacefaring, they'd just need an environmental suit or something of the like to handle it. I think after the semi-sorta-recent Lithoid Species Pack most people are interested to see even more species packs added to compliment the Humanoids, Plantoids, and now Lithoids that have been added so far and I think that an Aquatic species pack should be the next endeavor. ![]()
